The food is below the standard of Smitty's that I am used to, they also lack some of the breakfast specials I used to order in Manitoba before moving here. That said I normally like Smitty's, quite a bit but this one is a bit of a let down. The service could be stepped up a little with waitresses watching the floor more and although I don't care if they are smiling or happy, they feel like they are lacking energy (only exception was one visit with a waitress named Hailey she did a great job). The cook also doesn't know what a medium rare steak is, twice I have ordered the steak and got a little over medium well and once medium. It has the usual Smitty's atmosphere though, that I do like, nice and quiet eating experience, feels comfortable. Sadly compared to others though I can't personally recommend this one :/ Shame as it is the one closest to where I live now

I have never been to a Smitty's that is worth going into. Again on this trip I was just looking for a decent dinner close to my hotel. For value I would have been better off going to the Tim Horton's down the road. I had a burger and fries that cost me $17 after waiting at the door to be seated while the servers were all chatting in the back room. I can't imagine ever going back to another Smitty's.
