Awesome service, above and beyond. Mentioned an allergy and the lovely lady come back to us and said can't eat a couple of other items (like the sauce due to allergy) and offered them on the side so others could enjoy them at the table. very filling, ill be back next time im in town. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to Smokey J's on Tuesday to tackle their all you can eat night, and I came away seriously impressed. We had a group of six adults and one child. My partner and I arrived a little late and ordered our drinks separately after we'd already demolished the first round of food. After a while I noticed our drinks hadn't arrived, so I popped inside to check. The staff were incredibly responsive, got our drinks sorted straight away, and apologised for the minor delay. Their level of customer service was excellent and really showed how much they care about the customer experience. As for the all you can eat itself, they don't mess around. The food just keeps coming until you're genuinely full. The meat was tender, the sauces were spot on, and overall the quality exceeded my expectations. If I had to mention any negatives, they'd be very minor. Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the mac and cheese, and I found the coleslaw a little bland. They also bring out what can only be described as an alarming amount of cornbread. We received six slices, which felt like about two thirds of a cake tray. That said, the cornbread was absolutely delicious, so I certainly wasn't complaining. My theory is that's how they make an all you can eat deal work financially: fill you up with carbs and essentially serve dessert alongside the mains. Regardless, the food was fantastic, the staff were outstanding, and I'd happily go back again. I believe it was 100% worth the $45 a head and im concerned how they even profit but... 10/10 I will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60
