Hi David, we’re sorry to hear you feel this way. We take wine storage and shipping extremely seriously, especially with collectible wines like Gonon. Your bottles were stored in an offsite, temperature-controlled wine storage facility from the moment they were purchased (directly from the importer), to the moment they were shipped to you. At your request, we also held the order for an extended period to avoid both holiday shipping delays and unsafe winter weather conditions. We only released the shipment once you approved shipping in February. When you later contacted us in July, we explained that we had recently opened and sold bottles from this exact same lot without issue, including to several other collectors who were very happy with the condition of the wines. While we always want our customers to have a great experience, there was no indication that the wines were damaged upon receipt, and as such there is no basis for us to conclude that the wines were compromised in any way prior to delivery -- given the storage history, shipping timeline, and performance of the remaining bottles. We’ve shipped thousands of orders over the last 20+ years, including many rare and collectible wines, and careful management of inventory is fundamental to that process.
