What a stellar experience - the food is fresh and really flavorful without being too much. You can appreciate the chef’s creativity. The place has a rich and moody vibe making for a memorable and romantic night. I can’t wait to try it again one day. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love traveling to find amazing food around the world, and the food from Chef Tim in Big Sur has me coming back for more year after year. The flavors, the local ingredients, the presentation, and the service - all are top notch. Michelin level, IMHO. This place is A VERY good reason to drive from LA or SF. I love their bakery, too. It's a masterpiece. I prefer it to the places like Tartine, Arsicault and Alta Bakery. There is a reason why his sourdough bread sells out every morning before noon. Their bar and interior is stunning. Truly a hidden gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
