I was initially hesitant to try Someburros because I had never heard of the restaurant and wasn’t sure what to expect. However, we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, the restaurant was not busy, and we noticed three employees behind the counter. One employee was helping a couple with their order, while the other two were standing near the front kitchen window talking. We got in line to place our order, but unfortunately, we waited for more than five minutes without being greeted or acknowledged by either of the employees who were talking. The employee helping the couple appeared to be handling most of the work and seemed frustrated that the other two employees were not stepping in to help. At one point, other customers behind us even asked whether those three employees were the only ones available to assist customers. There was also an uncomfortable moment when the employee helping everyone became frustrated with one of the other employees who was standing in front of the chips area. On the positive side, the restaurant was very clean, and the prices were reasonable. We ordered two burros and a drink. One burro came with beans and meat, while the other included meat, rice, beans, cheese, and sour cream on the side. We also received chips with our meals. Overall, the food and pricing were okay, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was a definite positive. However, the customer service experience at the counter took away from our first visit. With better teamwork, more acknowledgment of customers, and a friendlier welcome for those entering and waiting in line, the experience could be much better. It was an okay experience, but not the best first impression. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
