Arrived to the Hilton late & hungry. This was the only spot open but I’d go again even if it weren’t. Excellent burger. Nice art & set up. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Me and some coworkers went for lunch today for the first time. We had no wait for a table, the waiter Terrance? did a nice job. I recognized the owner from the City Cafe around the corner, nice guy. Very chill atmosphere. We all had the smashburgers, I would have given 5 stars but our burger and fries were extremely salty. Everyone couldn't finish because of that, maybe ease up on the Tony's or whatever you had in it. It was a bit too much, other than that it was good. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Quite after New Years. Awesome Long Island Ice Tea. Street Tacos were tiny but yummy. I was very surprised to be handed a bag of Doritos and plastic utensils. Edit after owners reply. I'm no local. This was my first time in Baton Rouge. I hastily reviewed this establishment. The owner points out my incorrect grammar. I would like to point out I visited 3 establishments that night. According to the owner, I reviewed all the bars Downtown... I might not be able to spell, but also, they can't count! So, let's do a complete, in-depth review of my experience at Somewhere Neighborhood Bar. I was staying at the Hilton Hotel, practically across the street. Once I got settled in, I went to check things out for food and drinks. Walking up to this place, they were throwing an intoxicated man out. The barmaid was distressed with good reason. I sat at the bar and asked for a long Island Ice Tea! "You want to start a tab?" She replied. Instantly, I felt this wasn't a good vibe. "No problem," I replied. I asked how her New Years went. She said she "worked"... who would have thought, you're a bar tender. ( I have family who work in medical. From CNA's to Nurse Practioners in the ER.) Nobody wants to hear some whining bartender complain about working new years. Go work in Daycare! But, i was served a great Tea, just crapy company. Along with the plastic utensils... This place gets 3 (THREE) stars. And if the owner isn't happy with that, perhaps you're in the wrong business. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $20–30
