Made a reservation to have a birthday dinner here with the partner on a weekend. We ordered the 8-course degustation, "Midnight in the Garden with the Chef," for $125pp.

Each course was light, fresh and innovative. Impressively, most of the ingredients were sourced from the Songbird gardens. Highlights for us included the 'Frozen Peas' (silky smooth gelato of peas), 'Heirloom Tomato' (tangy tomatoes encased in a clear ravioli-like dumpling) and 'Smoked Pineapple' (sweet, smokey and intense).

Service was friendly and efficient. Reasonable prices for fine dining. Smart casual ambience.

Overall, a wonderful fine-dining option on Tambourine Mountain for those willing to push their food comfort levels.

Had a three course lunch last sunday. Got there a little early to walk around the grounds which was well worth it. Stunning rainforest setting surround the villas on the grounds (which we were able to check out thanks to the welcoming staff) as well as the dining area. Have to recommend the smoked short rib from the sturdy looking pro smoker they have around the back of the reaturant. All up the food was spot on, great wine list and beautiful location.

Fantastic!. We just had our wedding reception here and everything was amazing. The chef is passionate about quality and that really came through in what was served. All 73 of our guests were raving about the food. And the staff and service was excellent and very friendly. I have been to this restaurant a number of times over the last 10 years and have always come away with the same impression, that Songbirds is brilliant! Thanks very much Songbirds! P.s. The accommodation is also wonderful.
