The older lady that served me my order was pleasant but my overall experience with actually tasting my food once I got all the way home was horrible. I travel 35 minutes for nothing I sat in traffic, wasted gas and money. Outside of my wings, whole wings being burnt, the Mac was burnt as well. There was no seasoning on any of the items except for a hint of something spicy for no reason I’m extremely disappointed. Also don’t order the lasagna. I stand corrected that may be the only thing that has some sort of seasoning, but the thing is it was overly salty. I can’t believe what I have experience today that small miniature tray of lasagna was not worth $14 The burnt Mac was oily for some reason Smh.Please look at these pictures and try to find the lasagna. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $70–80 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

First and last time ordering from this establishment! Found hard plastic embedded in my dish. Absolutely gross and food safety issue. I’m glad I spit it out before swallowing it. Price per person: $20–30

I’ve eaten at Soul Foodies a couple of times and this will be my first time giving a review. First thing the employees do not greet the customers, The garlic bread is always soft not cooked to a golden crust, Although the flavors are very good the pasta always has some hard pasta in it. Also thick smoke in the restaurant smells like burnt grease. Oh and one more thing, there’s an annoying loudmouth African man that talks way too much and loud about unprofessional topics in a workplace. Take more time and appreciate the food you’re putting out and the customer service that is currently in need of some working on.
