This by far is the best Caribbean soul food in the Capital District I have been around for many years, I'm no spring chicken, so when I say this please believe me. I ordered a large oxtail dinner of which three people were able to eat. I ordered extra sides of mac and cheese, which is totally out of this world, more sweet potatoes and collard greens, curry chicken. They give you large portions, it seems like as I ate the food, more food was just coming back, LOL LOL The young lady behind the counter was extremely pleasant. I cannot say enough good things about the owner she's humble, gracious, spiritual and funny. There are so many things that I can say about this place. Please go and check this place out for yourself, you will not regret it. I spent a total of around $85 of which I do not regret. I will be back for more.

I didn't have the same experience as others. I found the food to be tasteless and bland. It defiantly lacked flavor. The yams weren't sweet, all I tasted was cinnamon. I was very disappointed with my purchase. Everything needed seasoning and heat. Caribbean food is supposed to be a little spicy, there was no scotch bonnet flavor. Another thing, I noticed on my receipt a "3% service fee". FOR WHAT???? I paid cash. I have spent my first and last dollar there. So very disappointing Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered soul food for the first time since I moved to NY. Although they didn't have all of the southern fixings, I must say, it was unbelievably delicious, made me home sick. Just wish they had cornbread and cobbler. I highly recommend. Price per person: $20–30
