There appeared to be a MAJOR lack of coordination among the team, which affected the overall dining experience. The food was not impressive at all, the mac & cheese and coleslaw were bland and lacking seasoning. The pulled pork was mostly fat.

They like to have people waiting outside for an hour. The whole place set up is horrible. It's tiny on the inside. There's barely any seating. Good luck trying to fit you and your family in there. Make sure no one's late because you're not allowed to save a seat for anyone..

My family chose Southern Junction for a multi-birthday dinner celebration for my BIL who is 65, nephew who is 27 and me who is 52. We went right at 4:00 when they opened and the line was already forming - a good sign that the food was that good. We got in, placed our order with the super friendly staff who cut our meat right there and served up our sides. I got the two meat platter with ribs and kielbasa - it was amazing! I got the rice and the mac and cheese for sides. The rice was good but the Mac and cheese was so much better! It was the best bbq in Buffalo, by far! If you haven’t been there yet, go right away. You won’t be disappointed. Just be ready to wait in line and feel free to tell them you want it to go so you can go to your house or a friend’s house to find a comfy seat and really enjoy. Great night!!
