Great local food, the kottu was amazing!! Got some left over Dal to try which was also yummy. Was the only customer since it‘s low season, if you stay in the area give them some love :) Price per person: Rs 1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

During our visit to Southern Wave Restaurant Sri Lankan Family Restaurant in Matara, we had a fantastic experience. The food was very good and freshly prepared. Although the menu did not include the fish that three people in our group wanted, the staff kindly prepared it especially for us. We received two large fillets — tuna and white fish — pan-fried to perfection. It was absolutely delicious. All the other dishes ordered from the menu were also very tasty. Thank you for the pleasant and professional service. We highly recommend this restaurant! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
