Ordered through Skip the Dishes. We had eaten at this very empty location a couple years ago and I would've rated the food a 3.5-4/5 then; sadly this time around we found the food has really declined in quality. Had the Chicken Souvlaki, Falafel platter, and a shrimp skewer with a garlic and tzatziki dip, I clearly had forgotten how much better the food at Opa is. The falafel is the worst I have ever had - it felt like I was eating sand and I typically love falafel but there was literally no crisp or spice to it. The shrimp was very very overcooked and dry - I couldn't eat it :(. The pita was what you'd buy at Safeway and had not been warmed on the grill as it was on our last visit. The sauces were both thin and mostly flavourless - at the very least give us a delicious tzatziki!!!

Dropped in for supper and enjoyed the beef souvlaki meal. Just right amounts and excellent flavors. Fast, friendly, fresh and flavorful. Excellent food and family friendly. We'll be back to try more menu items soon.

Sparta Greek Grill is a family owned restaurant located on 137 ave in the White Oaks area beside Superstore. Their menu has a lot of variety and the owner is super friendly! Food choices are mainly salads, side orders, platters, and pita wraps. The prices are reasonable and portions are filling. The atmosphere is warming and inviting. I suggest sitting upstairs because the walls are designed to make you feel like you're in Greece!
