POSTING HERE FOR VISIBILTY BECAUSE NO ONE ACTUALLY READ THE REVIEW FOR SHAHDRA BRANCH -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently visited Spice Origin in Shahdara Village, and it was a massive mistake. If you value your money and your appetite, stay away. Here is why: The "Shadow" Menu: They do not provide a physical menu or a price list. We were only told the price of the Half Chicken White Karahi (1800 PKR) beforehand. Every other charge was a "surprise" at the end. The Food: The Karahi was incredibly salty and lacked the creaminess you expect from a White Karahi. We actually had to send it back to be re-cooked. To make matters worse, the Tandoori Rotis (250 PKR) were so hard they were impossible to tear or chew—completely inedible. Hidden Charges: They slapped on a 450 PKR "Service Charge" for a pathetic experience. They also repeatedly pestered us to buy bottled water and soft drinks despite us saying "no" multiple times. The Receipt (Or Lack Thereof): When it came time to pay the 2900 PKR total, they refused to provide an official bill or receipt. This is a huge red flag for tax evasion and overcharging. Final Verdict: Save your 2900 PKR and go somewhere that respects customers enough to print a menu and cook edible bread. Truly a disappointing experience.
