The food is absolutely amazing, the service is great, and the prices are very affordable. Everything about the place felt really homely, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The people who run the business are incredibly welcoming and kind, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Food had a truly Indian taste with authentic flavours that felt close to home. The portions were good and the spices were well balanced. Prices were affordable for the quality, making it great value for money. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff made you feel welcome throughout the visit. I've ordered from Spice Root twice now and both times the food has been excellent and one of, if not the best tasting Indian food I've ever had. The curries are full of flavour and perfectly spiced. The prices are very reasonable and if I were living closer to the restaurant, I'd be popping in and ordering a lot more often. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5
