We came to Des Moines for a wedding! But, wanted to experience some cool & unique places. After researching I knew St. Kilda Collective was going to be a must stop! The atmosphere is great. We loved it all from being able to watch the chef and the sous chefs prepare the food, to the well-designed furniture and architecture. But, the food beat all of that! I had the Avocado Toast with bacon added and my husband got the Cheddar Chive Breakfast sandwich with a poached egg. We also got a side of the Truffle Fries with fancy sauce. So, so good! Not only was the food beautiful, but it had the most incredible layers of flavor! So thoughtfully made! While enjoying our great food, a manager brought over the most beautiful Strawberry/Raspberry Cheesecake that he said was on the house. Not sure why we were blessed with this amazing gift, but we were so thankful. It topped off our experience in such a great way! I made reservations the day before, which I would suggest. We didn't ask to be able to see the chef, but luckily were sat in that area. It made the experience even better, Take a trip to Des Moines and visit St. Kilda Collective. You will be so happy you did! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20
