I stumbled upon this little gem on the way back back from Helston. The pub has a real homely feel about it. I was with my son and there were books and board games for him to play with, you do not usually have this pubs, we were both very impressed. Our order was taken by a lovely young lady called Poppy, I had a veggie burger and my son had a pizza. The food arrived really really quickly, all cooked fresh, the presentation was first class........but the taste was even better. My son said his pizza was the best he had ever tasted. My veggie burger was outstanding. The value for money for fresh food was outstanding. The owner Lorraine came out from the kitchen to check our food was fine, what a lovely lady, really passionate about her business, nothing was too much trouble. She told me the young lady behind the bar was her daughter, a family run business, what a find!Lorraine asked me did me and my son want to come on the Halloween hunt the following week around the village, it is organised every year by the pub for the local children, I said we were from Truro, Lorraine said that did not matter and popped us down for it. We returned the following and took part in the hunt, we had so much fun! Thank you St Michaels Mount Inn and Lorraine & family
