The beer is CHEAP. The drinks specials are even cheaper. And the food is pub fare that takes you back to a time when you could find non-franchised eateries in the suburbs of Sandton.
If you're going for any of the food, do note that it's going to take a while. But when it arrives, it's just brilliant. The burgers are juicy. These take you back to your childhood when the amount of oil used to cook food didn't matter. And depending on the chef, they use grated cheese! Epic.
It's not the Keg. It's NOWHERE near Hogshead. But if you enjoyed places like the Zoo Lake Bowls Club or need a reminder that harks back to that time you stumbled upon a saloon looking drinkery in rural Limpopo, then this your place!
