Despite the renovation or conversion some time ago, the Stappen has lost none of its charm. I enjoy going and will continue to enjoy going there with friends for a great evening together. In addition to fantastic classics that are served there again and again; One of my favorites is the Düsseldorf mustard roast and the men's table setting at the end of my visit; The selection of dishes on the menu is regularly supplemented in an unusually good way by special seasonal dishes or offers. The atmosphere of the restaurant is always warm and inviting, this impression is reinforced by the "entrance lock", which optimally keeps the heat in the restaurant. The bar counter, which can be seen as soon as you enter the restaurant, takes away the austere atmosphere of the otherwise very upscale restaurant area in a positive way. This is divided into a smaller area at the entrance of the restaurant with standing, counter and regular seating and a larger room that can also be used for events. I can also highly recommend the latter from my own experience. The staff was and continues to be very courteous and strives to fulfill guests' wishes and questions in a pleasant manner. The prices of the place may seem expensive, but considering the culinary feast of the food and drinks and their corresponding taste, they are quite justified. I can recommend Stappen as an upscale restaurant to anyone who wants to experience good home cooking at a high level. Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Stappen Düsseldorf gefeiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben einen perfekten Service geboten, der keine Wünsche offen ließ. Die Speisen und Getränke waren qualitativ hochwertig und haben unseren Gästen besonders gut geschmeckt.
