Quite disappointed with the service after our experience on New Year’s Eve. We knew it would likely be slower service being one of the busiest nights of the year and were happy to accept some delays, but it took 3 and 1/2 hours to arrive and we had no way of contacting Star Chef as their phone had either been turned off or directed straight to voicemail. Our food didn’t arrive until 10pm only for us to find a hair in one of the dishes. Such a shame as usually the food is good here but there was no acknowledgement of the delay and the fact we didn’t get our food until so late (keeping in mind they actually close at 10pm so was fully convinced we wouldn’t be getting it at all), to then find a hair in the food really just ruined the experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I have always ordered from you, tryed to order today and it said you don't deliver to mine address in little downham.
As I don't have a car I guess I will have to go somewhere else that can deliver.

Ordered a meal last night after a long week at work. It looked lovely but after eating one mouthful the whole meal went in the bin, it was rank. Think something in the meal was off, will never use them again.
