Nos paramos a tomar un café y nos sorprendió para bien. El café tiene un sabor intenso y auténtico, no está aguado ni rebajado con agua como pasa en muchos sitios. También probamos los batidos y estaban muy buenos. Un buen sitio para hacer una parada, tomar algo rico y disfrutar de un café bien hecho. Ordered egg and cheese sandwich here, post I received it, it wasn't either cold or warm and wrapped in a plastic wrap with 2 paper plates. I have asked to warm sandwich and serve it in a proper way as dine in and takeaway didn't have a difference except addition of paper plates. In couple of minutes, received sandwich without plastic wrap as I asked staff to remove before heating up. However it wasn't warm, and staff mentioned it's cold sandwich. I have responded I like my egg sandwich either refrigerated or properly warm. I also mentioned as a customer, I would have sandwich as per my preference but this wasn't even considered. Then in couple of minutes, received same sandwich with no temperature difference but I accepted it. Taste was very mediocre and experiences like this aren't expected from Stearbeans. Also though I had asked for proper plate, received paper plates with 2 sandwiches placed in same plate and plates stacked one above the other. So does Stearbeans not maintain cutlery as or is this racism as I had seen burger and a different dish served in a proper plate. Staff had mentioned items on the counter would be served in paper plates, but if you intend to decide on experience based on price, what's the point of including smaller items. This place was on the way, so we took a quick stop here as we had great time in barn by Stearbeans in Ella. Today was our last day in Srilanka and this spoilt our experience. We had come across very welcoming people here but this was very different to our other encounters.

Had a really nice time at Take Five by Starbeans. The food was amazing and my latte was perfect! A big thanks to Ayesh for being so friendly and helpful. He made our visit really comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend Ayesh and this place...again thanks Ayesh Meal type: Other Price per person: Rs 3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
