Leaving this review specifically for barista Aleyah / Aliyah (I didn’t catch how to spell her name) because she was so sweet and lovely while filling in at the O’Kelly Chapel Road location, and she deserves recognition for it! Service: 5

This location used to be my favorite, and I came almost every day, but lately the experience has been very inconsistent. Sometimes my coffee is great, and other times it’s clearly not made correctly. That part is frustrating on its own, but what’s been more disappointing is how uncomfortable it feels to ask for it to be fixed. I’ve been told to bring drinks back if there’s an issue, but the few times I’ve done that, I’ve been met with noticeable frustration and attitude. I try to be as polite as possible because I already feel like an inconvenience bringing it back, but the interactions have felt tense and unwelcoming. Most recently, my drink visibly wasn’t made correctly and wasn’t even lined with caramel — which is a simple and popular request. It was obvious just by looking at it that it wasn’t prepared as ordered. I mentioned it immediately at the window and later went inside just to ask for a lined cup to try to fix it myself because I am so uncomfortable asking for anything at this point. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt hostile. While the gentleman that helped me at the counter was polite, I could feel others were not. Unfortunately, the lined caramel did not fix the drink as the rest of it still tasted awful, so I ended up throwing it out. For a $10 drink, it’s discouraging to feel like you’re asking for too much when you just want what you paid for. I’ve gone from visiting daily to maybe once a week, and unfortunately this last visit may be my final one. I truly hope this location can improve, because it used to be a great experience.
