Funny thing about the title Bistro. I had an experience years ago at a Bistro in Toronto that left me disappointed (after leaving this expensive place, I had to get some fast food because I was still hungry! Embarrassed to say that I live fairly close to The Steel City Bistro but didn’t think about ordering here likely because of my previous “Bistro” experience. The good news is that a month or so ago, I saw a neighbour exiting the place and asked their opinion. It was very positive so I thought I’d give it a try and boy am I glad I did. The Holy Macinaw burger is like none I’ve had before. I don’t know what the chef does to the meat but the taste is exquisite and all of the flavours blend in nicely yet aren’t mashed together. Simply awesome. Before discovering Steel City Bistro Hmbrger was my favourite. It’s a small place with a limited menu but I highly recommend you give it a try.

The place is very friendly, welcoming owners and very clean space on the inside. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich tonight and it was truly early amazing. One of the best pulled porks in the city of Hamilton and the poutine my friend ordered was totally utterly amazing. says one of the best poutines she's had in a long time or I do recommend this place for years to come. hope it lasts for a long time and I'll be back to try their burgers and their tacos and I love that they have interact amazing, friendly family oriented business. Go check them out today and get your food cuz it's all freshly made
