I'm there at least once a day sometimes 2 and 3 times. Gas prices aren't really competitive, and sometimes there's staffing issues especially when there's only 1 cashier and someone wants ice cream or has lottery issues

I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of compassion and basic human decency shown at Stewart’s yesterday. My husband and his brother stopped in for ice cream and water. While checking out, my brother-in-law, who has chronic health issues, suddenly passed out, collapsed, and suffered a serious leg injury. He was in excruciating pain, repeatedly losing consciousness from shock, and my husband was left trying to comfort him and manage a traumatic medical emergency by himself. To the employees working that day: where were you? From what I was told, the only thing anyone behind the counter did was call 911. No one came to assist. No one checked on them. No one offered support, cleared space, brought water, or showed even the slightest bit of concern for a customer lying injured on the floor of your store. The only people who stepped up to help were a few compassionate customers. I understand that employees aren’t medical professionals, but basic human empathy costs nothing. When someone collapses, breaks their leg, and is screaming in pain in your store, the bare minimum should be showing concern and offering whatever assistance you can until emergency services arrive. Instead, my husband was left to handle one of the most terrifying experiences of his life alone while staff stood by and did virtually nothing. I hope management takes a serious look at how employees are trained to respond to medical emergencies because no family should ever feel as abandoned as ours did. This was not just disappointing, it was shameful.
