Stockstugan (which roughly translates to “timber hut”) is located along the main road through Hemavan, just a few minutes from the center. The restaurant is set in a beautiful, traditional log building with a large open fire, creating a very cozy atmosphere. The menu is not extensive, but we were very satisfied with our dinner. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the overall service was good. The music volume is generally fine, although it can become a bit loud when the restaurant is busy. Prices are at a medium level, with dishes such as pizza costing around 250 SEK. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience and definitely recommended.
