Wow! Above the clouds, great views, and honestly respectable snack and drink offerings. I liked the Newbury Street and the Commonwealth. A serendipitous visit from my personal failing at correctly scheduling hotels, glad it worked out in a way that got me here! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a fantastic experience at The Stratus – Rooftop Bar Boston. The bar offers stunning city views, creating a perfect setting to enjoy the evening. The cocktails were excellent—creative, well‑balanced, and beautifully crafted. We were especially impressed by the bartender on duty, who was skilled, friendly, and truly elevated our visit. Everything at Stratus felt exceptionally clean, modern, and well‑maintained. However, it is incredibly disappointing that View Boston plans to close the bar and restaurant on April 21. It feels like once again, decisions are driven only by money rather than by what guests genuinely value. Stratus has been a unique and welcoming place, and I will truly miss it. We stopped in for a quick drink while up at the observatory. The drinks were good but small and very pricey and very limited menu. Bartenders were very quiet and not personable at all. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
