It's is a small business but great food: very colorful restaurant. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to try a plane pizza place.

We had a large party and were okay with the 30 minute wait time. As we looked around the restaurant we noticed there were TONS of open tables yet they told us that it "wasn't guaranteed" we would be able to be seated. Lame excuses and wasted our time. Go to Mountain Mikes instead, it's only a couple minutes away.

Tl;dr - maybe ok for takeout only, if you live nearby. Most of my favorite pizza memories of my youth involved Straw Hat Pizza. I think that location closed many years ago, but I still have certain expectations for Straw Hat to live up to. This place does not live up to my expectations. Maybe my expectations were unreasonable. I thought this would be a classic pizza parlor for kids to hang out and play arcade games while the grownups share a pitcher of beer. It was nothing like that. More like a take-out Domino's, but not nearly as together as they are. There are four or five tables inside, but the whole layout of the business seems poorly thought out. Like the grocery store next door had an extra back room, and thought, "hey, maybe we could fit a pizza oven and some tables in here!!?!" The pizza was fine. No complaints, but it didn't really hit the spot for me. They've got plenty of coupons online, which was what drew me in in the first place (50% off pizzas on Mondays and Tuesdays). Now I understand why they have such good coupons: 'cause nobody wants to eat here. We ordered at the counter, sat down and waited, and ate our pizza there. Never saw another customer the entire time. An employee walked in and seemed shocked to actually see customers dining-in. Sorry, but we won't be coming back here.
