True to the name the BBQ here is stupid good. They take the same care as with all the other great American restaurants like Mike's next door, but with laser focus on the classic BBQ experience. Everything I've had here has been amazing. The salads are tossed in their signature ranch just like at their other restaurants but with that BBQ pulled chicken mixed in. Really brings it up to a new level from their usual version. The smashed potatoes are also a fun twist on the normal baked potato side option. Get it with the chili! Oh and the mac and cheese is so good too, creamy fresh sauce that I wouldn't be surprised if it's made in house from scratch. Smiles all around the table from us! Come on by y'all and get you some, you won't be disappointed! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: It's BBQ so it's obviously meat focused, but they do have salad, baked potatos, mac & cheese that each could be ordered without meat and still be plenty satisfying.

I ordered the pulled chicken by the pound for carryout, and it was excellent. The chicken was surprisingly moist and tender, almost like pulled pork, which is rare because pulled chicken at many places can be dry. Not here! The portions were generous, and they had a great assortment of yummy BBQ sauces to choose from. My order was hot and ready when I arrived, which made the whole carryout experience easy and convenient. Definitely a great spot for pulled chicken and BBQ. Excellent BBQ quick service restaurant with amazing staff just across the street from Mike's, the flagship Great American Restaurants chain. We had pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw, mac n' cheese, and complimentary cornbread. Everything was delicious and gives Mission BBQ a run for its money. Will definitely be back with a larger party and hope Stupid Good BBQ will expand across the NOVA region. Love how they're at least six BBQ sauces to sample at each table. 12/10. Looking forward to trying Best Buns next door and the new Gainesville location in the next couple years.
