Best sandwiches ever. All fresh sliced when you order, not fresh before it went into a package! Their subs come in 2 sizes, half and full. I can eat, but 90% of the time I'm full after half. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Gut Bomb, Pastrami, Salami, Meatball, Full Boat Half Vegetarian options: There are a couple avocado sandwiches. I got one for my vegetarian friend but had them hold the avocado. She loved it! And it wasn't too thin either, they really did a good job making that one.

The easiest way to judge a sub shop is to critique their Italian sub ( hold the mustard, mayo & jalapeno and just "run it through the garden" w/ extra oil), and the Walla Walla Sub Shop passes the test with highest honors. This foreigner from CA recently visited twice and I was highly satisfied. Prices are quite reasonable and your sandwich is constructed quickly and with loving care. The proprietor was both pleasant and engaging and I am expecting a Belgian style witbier micro--brewed on premises in the not too distant future!
