Visited Subway for a footlong turkey breast and was disappointed by both the food quality and customer service. The lettuce available at the counter was dry, browning, and clearly at the end of its shelf life. I politely asked if there was fresher lettuce available. The employee looked annoyed while turning to the fridge. She opened the new bag, but instead of replacing the old lettuce, she dumped the fresh lettuce directly on top of the old browned lettuce and rudely said, “it’s the same.” The reaction made me feel like I was being difficult simply for asking for fresh ingredients. Isn’t that your company’s slogan? “Eat fresh”. Customers should not have to argue for basic freshness standards, especially at a major franchise. The issue wasn’t just the lettuce — it was the dismissive attitude and lack of care about food quality and presentation. Very disappointing experience overall. Very disappointed with my experience at this Subway location. The staff member (name looked like Arsh or Arish, couldn’t read it clearly) was extremely rude and showed no respect toward customers. The attitude was unprofessional and made the whole visit uncomfortable. Definitely not the kind of service anyone expects. I will never visit this store again. Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
