Last night for dinner (Saturday on the weekend when no decision makers are at work at Subway Corporate), I got a chopped vegetable salad. No problem. Today I went back to get another one for lunch. I was told they no longer made them. When I told them I got one yesterday, they said they were informed yesterday. I could be wrong, but I think the likelihood that the Subway big guys sent out a cease and desist order for chopped salads after 7pm on a Saturday is about zero. If the young folks don’t want to make the salad, I could live with that. After all, it takes less time than making a toasted sandwich. But to lie about it, well, let’s just say my money remains in my pocket and will continue to do so regarding Subway. I guess I’m breaking up with a quickly deteriorating sandwich shop that for quite a while has been anything but fresh. Zero kudos to you Subway!!!
