I ordered online and my food was prepared quickly. It's rare that I find a place with both a great breakfast sandwich and a great matcha, luckily, this place gave me both!! I customized my sandwich by choosing croissant as the bread, adding spicy mayo, and changing the scrambled egg to over medium. I also ordered a hash brown which was slightly thin but crispy, just how I like it. The matcha had a beautiful frothy texture that I loved and the ube was super delicious and had just the right amount of sweetness. If you like your matcha super sweet, I would suggest adding simple syrup, but if you like to enjoy the flavor of good matcha, order it as-is. I was in a rush but I'd love to sit down and take in the space next time. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been to Sumatra Cafe twice now, and both visits have been great. The first time, I had the corned beef sandwich. It was fresh, generously portioned, and made with quality ingredients. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the horseradish, but that’s just my personal taste. On my second visit, I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap, and it was absolutely amazing! It was fresh, packed with flavor, and had just the right amount of spice. I paired it with one of their iced lattes, which was smooth, creamy, and delicious. The cafe itself is clean, modern, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they care about the quality of both the food and the service. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend Sumatra Cafe if you’re looking for great coffee and fresh, delicious food Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This cafe is such a gem! Aside from the delicious and unique food and beverages, the staff is what keeps me coming back time after time! They offer many vegan options here. My go to is the tempeh wrap and their ube matcha with oat milk. My best friend loves their breakfast sammie. They would often have specials so make sure you come check them out. Terry, Lia, and Diego are so attentive and friendly. They treat everyone like family and always put so much love into making my food and drinks. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20
