I’m OBSESSED with Summer Moon. I live about 15 minutes from my closest location. I pass by many Starbucks on the way (therefore really going out of my way to go and get some coffee). I have been at least a once a week if not twice regular customer for about a year now. So far I have always been super impressed with my coffee and always made to perfection until recently. I’m not sure if new baristas have been hired on, but my coffee hasn’t been as delectable since. They also seem confused on questions about the coffee beans, along with grind settings. I myself am I former barista so maybe I except a little more coming to coffee shops and expecting the baristas to know their product. I would even appreciate them being honest and saying “I’m not sure let me ask someone else and see if they know the answer to my question” instead of an uneducated answer. I will continue to be a loyal customer; however, I hope this feedback will help give the guidance to enhance their baristas education and success of the coffee shop. First time here this morning. I had the hot 1/2 moon latte and it was way better than I expected. Plenty of seating inside and out, more than enough parking spaces to accommodate customers, pleasant atmosphere with easy on the ears music. Great place to visit for a coffee break.
