My wife and I had a reservation at this restaurant, but we waited almost 15-20 minutes for water and service. We weren’t greeted at the door, which made us feel a bit lost at first. The music was good and the vibe was nice, but the service was awful. As a black-owned business, we expect better service. We drove from Akron just to be disappointed and end up at Popeyes instead. Thanks for wasting our Sunday. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I really love Sunset Kitchen. I love the vibe and the music is always great. I normally don’t go places by myself, but this is one spot where I feel completely comfortable walking in alone and sitting at the bar. That says a lot. The weekend brunches are my fav! The cocktails are amazing especially the margarita flights. I got the chicken and waffles which was really good! They also do a Christmas bar in the winter that’s decorated very nicely. The whole place feels festive and again, the music is on point. It’s always busy, which speaks for itself, but the service has consistently been good. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a fun, little restaurant. The brunch had a great menu. The waffles and chicken is a must try. And the s'more holiday martini was delicious! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20
