I am rubbish at Google reviews and recently put a review about the Surrey. However, I have not a clue how to edit it. So treat this as an edit to my review of the 13th August. My review revolved around cold chips, a burning hot plate and an excessive wait and being fobbed off with what appeared to be a flimsy excuse. I have since heard from Matt who apologised for the delay and the food and he explained in some detail why the food problems occurred. It's rare that you get an explanation and rarer that it is both polite and informative. Thank you Matt. Absolutely terrible! Ordered a All American Chicken Burger. Bland, bacon was awful & really uncooked. This place has gone down the pan!!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: Kids Menu & a small play ground!!

Family meal. Great service as usual. My only complaint on this occasion was that we asked for medium rare steaks that came medium/well. Wasn't expecting mushrooms as they haven't served them for months and rather than the usual skillet they have always served the steaks were on large dinner plates without the usual tasty onions and minus the usual tomato. Although it was tasty, really missed the usual garnishing and it all looked a bit lost on the plate - basic steak, peas and chips only. Obviously felt like they were cutting back and tho will return in future probably not steak for me next time especially as it was not steak night and it was full price that day. Sorry had to say it.
