Literally the best Japanese I’ve had in UK. The chef is a hongkonger but he lived in Japan before and learn his skills in Japanese so you could see and taste the delicacy and wholeheartedness on his food. I would recommend chef selection (we expected to be served in a sushi bowl only but we actually had a omakase style of experience lol) , shrimp soup, soft shell crab roll, sea urchin ice cream, and the homemade plum wine is amazing such a shame the unagi rice is sold out as it looks so good! It’s now at my go to list for treating myself! Would recommend book ahead as it’s served as counter style so you only got around 15-20 seat! Note: you got free of service charge if you pay by cash! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is the 3rd time I’ve been to Sushi Joe and it gets better each time. The food is incredible and it’s probably the best sushi I’ve had in England. Sitting at the bar you watch as chef delicately prepares your meal one by one which gives the meal a very special feel. The scallop streamed in sake is a must try and the mixed Nigiri set menu was perfect! Very much worth a trip to try! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £80–90
