I was so surprised by how great this sushi spot was on my first visit! I got two rolls and grilled Gyoza. The Gyoza was even better than anything I’ve had in Metro-Detroit, which I wasn’t expecting. The sushi was also fantastic, each roll packed with fresh, high-quality seafood that was incredibly satisfying. I’m definitely coming back! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I honestly hate even being this person and leaving a review like this, but this experience was bad enough that I feel people should know. We placed a simple pickup order ahead of time: 10 identical salmon rolls. We arrived exactly at the pickup time we were given, only to be told the order was wrong (they made tuna instead). Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, staff immediately blamed us and argued that we ordered it that way, even though it was the same order we’ve made for years. They tried to push us to just take the wrong food. When we politely asked how long the correct order would take, we were told, “when they get to it.” No timeline, no effort to make things right — just attitude and hostility. Being argued with and spoken down to in front of other customers was embarrassing and completely unnecessary. After waiting about 40 extra minutes, we finally got our food and left. When we got home and opened it, the sushi looked like it had been thrown together — soggy rice, messy rolls, uneven cuts, and overall sloppy quality. After everything that happened, it honestly felt like the food reflected the attitude we were given. Mistakes happen — everyone understands that. What matters is how a business treats people afterward, and this place showed zero accountability or basic courtesy. Spending your hard-earned money somewhere should not end with feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and disappointed. There are plenty of sushi options around.
