Stellar tasting menu! Incredible value for the quality of the food and its playful presentation, from the the eye-popping 40-vegetable starter to the delicate sakura mochi dessert. The entire meal is seen to with care and attention to detail by a hardworking husband/wife team. Truly a highlight of our two weeks in Japan! A perfect meal from start to end. A tiny restaurant run by a couple, the chef cooks everything to perfection, with amazing balance, creativity and finesse, at such a pace that is hard to imagine one person is capable of such a feat. The food was seasonal and featured vegetables heavily which I loved, and the standout dish was the sakura mochi, probably the best daifuku I have eaten.
