Following an easy and efficient booking process, we had a private event in the Swan Room on a Monday afternoon. Food was wonderful. Service was excellent. Cannot fault a thing. Thanks Team Swan! We had a lovely afternoon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Dropped in for a lunch-time snack and ordered the chicken and bacon baguette. Great confusion at the. bar as to whether the bacon was included (or needed to send a text message) but was assured that it was included. However when it arrived there was NO BACON. Mentioned this to the bar staff when I left and the response was: "W'e'll have to tell them". Pathetic response. The baguette itself was inedible, the equivalent of UPF Mother's Pride rubbish. This is obviously a pub that trades on its location but cares nothing about the quality of its food once they've reeled the punters in. AVAOID AVOID BIG TIIME. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Geoff,Just wanting to check this is the correct pub? We are the Swan Walton on Thames and as we don’t serve chicken and bacon sandwiches (in fact no baguettes at all!) we wanted to make sure there was no mix up here?Swan Team

Diabolical service which was such a shame when the location was so lovely. Lacked warmth and welcome due to unfortunate manner of beer garden waiter. When I asked if I could have a drink when I sat down, he replied robotically that I should use the app or go to the bar. There was no one else in the beer garden at the time and he didn’t seem at all busy- it was 11am on a Saturday. Was not made to feel welcome or a valued customer. Loved the view but will not be going back here. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Hi Amp Fiddler, We would like the opportunity to address your concerns, our policy with service outside is as you were told but we would like to apologise if this was addressed robotically, this is an issue and it will be communicated and addressed. We ended up having an extremely busy day on Saturday and Im sure the team in hand would have been busy in preparation for this. However we are always looking to improve and are attempting to implement new hand held devices to take orders outside so this wont happen in the future.Kind regards The Swan.
