This is tiny place and always crowded with youngsters. The sitting situation is a little chaos. I have visited this place in three occasions to try different menus intentionally. I ordered Sahi fuchka, the ingredients tasted hand picked, fresh and delicious. In second visit, I ordered sahi chotpoti, that is little bit sour side but lemon in place of tamarind is a twist of taste. The mint lemonade is very refreshing and balanced in sweetness. The third time I ordered ganjum and lassi. Ganjum has nothing special in taste and lassi is very sweet, which is not appealing. The food presentation is also very standard. The service is quick and good. Definitely a recommended place for a quick snack. Taroof has a great environment with chill music and a unique old village vibe in its decoration; feels different from most other places. Their tea is truly special! The fuchka, singara, and especially the spicy naga chotpoti are packed with flavor like fire! It gets a bit crowded during peak hours, but totally worth it. Prices are reasonable too.
