Amazing experience. We came as a couple and chose the chef’s selection — incredibly diverse, creative, and absolutely delicious. The mix of Italian cuisine with subtle Japanese influences is done with so much attention to detail. We felt like the only tourists among locals, which says everything. Also, the lovely couple from Northern Italy running the place made the evening even more special. Highly recommended! Visited Tipico after spending about two weeks touring across Japan and was so happy to find it! Chris and Giovanna are excellent hosts and give you great attention and care. I know for sure English, Italian, and Japanese are all languages available, although I bet French and German might be on the table too since Chris is Swiss. They helped me identify vegetarian items and were so welcoming. The food was excellent, authentic, but served in tapas portions for sharing. Note that only PayPay or cash is accepted; however, there is an ATM only a few minutes walk away though in case you were like me and came unprepared :) Would definitely dine here again and again as their seasonal specialities changes nearly weekly! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
