My friends and I stayed at the Hyatt next door, and we dined here for our first meal. We had a blast with Kato san, who also drank with us. He is very passionate about his craft, and you can see it while he is cooking. The food was fun to eat and amazing! Yakitori paired with cold Orion beer and cold sake (recommendations from Kato san) was a match made in heaven! We got to meet 3 new Hawaiian friends there, whom my wife ran into at the mall again. After seeing recommendations online, we decided to visit this place on our first night in Okinawa. Unfortunately, it was full to capacity, so we returned later in our trip shortly after opening time. I'm glad we did. This was some of the best food we had during our stay in Okinawa. Although the place is small, it has a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and it was great watching the chef cook over the hot coals. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was excellent, but I would particularly recommend the Wagyu skewers—they were absolutely fantastic. They also make an excellent highball which helped with the humidity outside. Overall, this was one of the culinary highlights of our trip, and a place I would happily visit again.
