Quality is good while the price is cheap (if compare to 17-18 eur in Finland). The best Vietnamese Pho and restaurant I've tried for 1 year studying abroad. In my opinion and taste (I live in the south, Ho Chi Minh City), the soup are really authentic and rich in flavor. The restaurant is also cozy and well-decorated. Staffs are nice, friendly and serve quickly. Recommend if you want to try Pho in Riga, note on this great restauramt! The portion is quite good with. Today, January 10, 2026, my wife and I visited a place called TRE Rīga, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. First of all, a quick tip for future visitors: the portions are incredibly large. We honestly recommend starting with one dish and seeing how hungry you really are before ordering more. The service was good and friendly. The place itself is simple, cozy, and clean. Despite the fact that there were quite a lot of people, the food was served quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. We started with Tempura Prawns, and they were an excellent appetizer. Light, airy, perfectly crispy batter with no excess oil, and juicy, tender prawns inside. Delicious from the very first bite. We also ordered Pho Bo, and choosing a large portion turned out to be a mistake, it was truly massive. The broth was rich and aromatic, the beef soft, tender, and thinly sliced, pairing perfectly with the noodles. Fresh herbs and spices added balance and freshness. A classic dish, made with great quality. The Tom Yum with beef was expressive but not aggressive. The spice level was just right, enough to highlight the flavors without overpowering them. The broth was thick, fragrant, and very well balanced: a touch of sweetness at first, followed by gentle heat and a spicy aftertaste. The crispy chicken in honey with rice was another highlight. Very tender, juicy meat, with honey adding a pleasant caramel sweetness without being too heavy. The sauce coats the chicken nicely, enhancing the flavor rather than overwhelming it. A great balance of sweet and savory, hard to stop eating. The udon with beef was also done very well. The noodles were perfectly cooked, elastic, and held the sauce beautifully without being overcooked. The beef was soft, juicy, and well prepared, clearly showing good-quality ingredients and careful kitchen work. To finish, we had jasmine tea, which was simply a pleasure. Light, aromatic and very soothing. Overall, we can definitely recommend TRE Rīga for a satisfying and tasty meal. We really enjoyed everything we tried.
