Moving to Delphos, I was genuinely thrilled to find out we had a local taco bell. Having lived in my fair share of small towns with zero fast food, the idea that I could literally walk or ride my bike there felt like a luxury. That beautiful illusion lasted exactly until I looked at the menu. This is, single handedly, the most greedytaco bell I have ever encountered in my life. A cravings box here is sitting at $10. For context, that exact same box is $5.99 to $6.49 at the most in normal locations. We are talking about a 55% to 65% markup on standard fast food. They are pricing their menu like they're a michelin star bistro on the french riviera, yet the food is coming out of a drive through window in northwest Ohio. And don't get me started on how stingy they are with the ingredients & sauces. They act like they're going to go bankrupt if they add just the standard amount that the order supposed to have. I’m convinced it absolutely killed management to run that $3 steak burrito deal last year. they countered the promotion by applying the absolute microscopic bare minimum of steak, pico and chipotle sauce, acting like the standard amount would personally bankrupt the franchise owner. Here’s an idea. if you charged normal prices, people can actually afford to eat there regularly, and you'll make up for it in volume. I’ve been holding this rant in for a long time, but the craving hit today and I just had to let it out. I honestly might have to call my people up at the taco bell in Sturgis, Michigan which is easily the best location I have ever ate at just to remember what a properly priced, well sauced burrito tastes like. Do better, Delphos taco bell. Smh. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
