Popped in for a taco and MAN! They were ON-POINT! We had the birria and pirata. Halfway through switched. YUM! Every bite, fresh, crunchy jalapeños and cilantro in the white queso. Wow. Really hit the spot. One taco and a beer. Good atmosphere, company and attentive service, too. Go here for good tacos! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Got the al pastor and chicken mole taco. The al pastor was okay, but the there was no mole on the "chicken mole" - it was just refried black beans; zero mole flavor. I was a hungry boy so I ate it...but I'm pretty sure mole =/= refried black beans. Decided not to bug the sweet bartender who took my order about it. I really hate to give a bad review but I'm only giving it because I HOPE they come back to their original glory. I'm arguably one of their first customers when they first opened the Burnet location and this was a true Austin gem spoken by a native Austinite. These tacos were original, authentic, fresh ingredients and the bar has a special home town buzz to it. The owner is a great dude and the staff that helped build his business but I'm not sure where it is today. The food is awful and had to give up half way. Maybe there's ownership fatigue which is real but if this review is read by staff I hope it's seen as a plea to keep this brand circulating in Austin and not let it join the Austin culture graveyard.
