Always such a hit and absolutely love that they take my gluten allergy (celiac) very seriously! Whenever I'm craving sushi for dinner (more often than not), I don't even question whether the >20 minute drive is worth it. I always get the TRIO SUSHI (replacing the tuna roll with a spicy salmon roll). Highly recommend. Food: 5

We held our daughter's Christening party at Taka Asian Fusion and it was just absolutely excellent from start to finish. Aimee, the restaurant's manager, was very friendly and helpful. She accommodated all our requests and worked with our budget. Aimee and her staff were all very pleasant and they all provided an outstanding and very professional service for us. The food was amazing--fresh and high quality. Not overpriced at all. All our guests commented on how great the food and service was. There was nothing but praise for the staff from everyone who was there. We would definitely recommend the Taka Asian Fusion in Merrick not just to those planning an event, but to everyone. My husband and I always go there every week for our date night. Again, excellent service, great atmosphere, and the food is always amazing!
