TAKESHI-SAN!!! I haven't forgotten about dropping this review Where do I begin. Oh boy, this is easily one of the best omakase I've had in a long while after all my travels across Asia/eastern seaboard of Aus. I booked this months in advance a while back and fortunately for Takeshi checking in with me as one of my friends had to drop out of this occasion. So I was still able to go ahead with my reservation by myself without any penalties. The highlights for fresh fish was definitely the Saba, white fish cuts as you can taste how fresh the seafood Takeshi sources from D&K. Takeshi is so thorough with every explanation and I love that the progression from light to heavier cuts was done so eloquently. I also absolutely loved the Chawanmushi and duck ramen as it complemented the whole experience without feeling like I will pass out from a food coma. If there was one absolute star of the show - definitely the fluffy unagi. I don't know what's the secret recipe there but after having a slice from takezo, I felt like it taken me back to Japan Also at $185 pp, this dinner omakase is on par (if not better than) with the ones at $280+ どうもありがとう Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$180–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Love Takezo. Second visit as good as the first. The chef is knowledgeable and friendly and has put together an absolutely wonderful experience - which is really the only word for it. There are only six seats so you will need to book well in advance but it's worth the effort. Make sure you tell the chef if you are enjoying the food! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: None, there are no options for vegetarians at all and there is no menu, it's made on the spot. Not a venue for vegetarians at all.

Had an extremely enjoyable time here. Food was excellent, the chef made every effort to make sure we had a good time. I enjoyed myself immensely. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $160–180
