Passed by on my way home craving pho and found this spot. Ended up ordering the Saigon pork belly stew from the specials — which turned out to be essentially Taiwanese braised pork rice under another name. It was decent: nothing spectacular, nothing wrong with it either. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I came here to have dinner with my friend, my ex girlfriend and my ex girlfriend’s husband. I had the coconut prawn curry and a lychee cocktail. I did go through the humiliation ritual of trying to use chopsticks on a curry in public but it was so delicious!! I would definitely recommend if you’re in the Ealing area and you like Vietnam! TânVân in West London is a truly charming little Vietnamese restaurant that feels both intimate and welcoming from the moment you walk in.
