Disappointing and misleading are the keywords for this visit. I came for the buffet after trying the buffet at the neighbors "Sabura Sushi" which was very impressive; However, it would turn out that Tandoori 9 has not taken inspiration from its neighbour's successful concept. The food: The food can be described as the opposite of what one wants from an Indian kitchen; Tasteless and uninspired. This is food that brings back memories of childhood with Toro-Indian dishes. The food has simply been "Norwegianized" or has not been prepared with enough spices. If this had come in a glass in the grocery store, I would have thought it was good! But for a restaurant, it certainly doesn't measure up! The offer: Here, I simply feel cheated and cause my trust in the restaurant to be weakened to a greater extent. I specifically came at the weekend as they then have a larger selection than on weekdays, although it costs a little extra. When I got there, they marketed "Superhelg" in collaboration with the triad centre. Then it cost just as little as it did in everyday life, which I initially saw as a positive surprise. The disappointment came when I realized that they had reduced the selection to the corresponding everyday menu, which in essence means that you have not really received any discount at all.. (See price overview at the bottom) It is as if you had arrived in everyday and paid for an ordinary everyday buffet. Same price, same selection. This is seen as sloppy and disappointing. It is even worse if you had chosen not to make use of the membership offer (Super Weekend) because then you would have actually paid MORE for LESS! (You had paid NOK 329 for the everyday menu) Summary: Rather go to the neighbor (Sabura Sushi)... If you are looking for Indian, I would rather take the trip further to, for example, Strømmen or other places with a better Indian selection. Here is a small price overview as of today NOK 249/person in everyday life Selection: 2x Meat dishes, 2x Vegetarian dishes, plain naan NOK 329/person at the weekend Selection: 3x Meat dishes, 3x Vegetarian dishes, plain naan, raita. NOK 249/Pers (NOK 329 without membership) "Super-Weekend!" Selection: 2x Meat dishes, 2x Vegetarian dishes, plain naan To the owner, I would like to apologize if this post seems strict or critical, but I have absolutely no patience for such trick offers, and one must be able to expect more taste/spice when ordering from an Indian restaurant.
