Supremely disappointed. I ordered take out right before 6pm on a Friday night and was told 1.5 hours before my food would be ready. That was fine with me and not an unusual wait time. I arrived to pay and pick up my order 25 minutes AFTER my order was supposed to be ready. My order wasn’t ready. I was told it would be another 30 minutes and was asked if I wanted to wait. It turns out my order wasn’t even started so I left. Waiting over 2.5 hours for take out didn’t make sense to me. I drove 25 minutes out of my way to patronize this restaurant to celebrate an anniversary with some take-out. I don’t think I’ll be back since my time and gas were wasted.

We're so sorry Jasmine. We did a terrible job last night. We were overwhelmed by orders early on and just never caught up. We set the pickup time at an hour and a half thinking that we could catch up, but we never got there. Not even close, obviously. We may still be short one in the kitchen, but even with extra help last night, we probably still wouldn't have been able to keep up. We should've stopped taking orders earlier than we did, because the volume was just too overwhelming We're so sorry you had to drive so far and wait so long and still not get your food. You have every right to be disappointed and angry. We sincerely apologize.

Do not take this little gem for granted, locals. We have moved to central CA and there is no place close to Tangerine Cafe
