The food was ok. Not a good deal for the price, which is par for this area, but not for Mexican food. Chips and salsa should come to the table first automatically, especially at this price. The plates are reusable, but the water glasses were all disposable plastic, brought with straws. Wasteful, and at these prices we should get real glasses. The food was good enough, but not great. Rather small meat portions. I hate to say it but I get more and better food for less money at the big chain burrito place. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Taqueria Nacho Libre in Rutherford, NJ, is an absolute must-visit for food enthusiasts! From the moment you walk in, the experience is top-notch. The guacamole is a flavor explosion that sets the stage for what’s to come. The birria tacos with consommé are a true taste sensation that will have you dreaming about them long after your meal. And those tostadas? Simply phenomenal. The horchata is equally impressive—refreshingly smooth and perfectly sweet. On top of the incredible food and drinks, the staff’s warmth and attentiveness make every visit special. If you’re craving authentic, mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, this is the place to be! I would love to see pollo pozole verde added to the menu in the future—it would be the perfect addition to an already fantastic selection! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
